Got Game
Entertainment and White Castle Make a Deal for
“Arctic Stud Poker Run”
For those who crave great games and great food, America’s
original fast food hamburger restaurant and a truly original
computer game make the perfect combination
Weston,
CT – March 25, 2008 –
Got Game Entertainment today announced it has partnered with White
Castle, America’s original fast food hamburger restaurant, to
celebrate the release of new computer game, “Arctic Stud Poker Run”.
From now until April 27, this truly original new computer game
combining armed combat and off-road racing with high stakes poker
will be the focus of White Castle radio promotions. The “Arctic Stud
Poker Run” demo will also be linked to for free download from the
White Castle website at
www.WhiteCastle.com. And, for 5,000 lucky gamers craving
sustenance during those marathon “poker runs”, coupons redeemable
for three free hamburgers from White Castle will be found in a
select run of “Arctic Stud Poker Run” retail boxes.
“Arctic Stud Poker
Run” was developed by Game Refuge in the Chicago area, home to more
than 80 White Castle restaurants, and their signature Slyders® kept
the team going on many a long game development night. Indeed, the
development team was inducted into White Castle Cravers Hall of
Fame.
“White Castle
played a big part in Game Refuge’s development of ‘Arctic Stud Poker
Run’ and, perhaps not surprisingly, gamers will find that the
restaurants even make a tasty appearance in the game,” said Got Game
Entertainment President Howard Horowitz.
In fact, a White
Castle restaurant appears in 28 of the 126 levels of “Arctic Stud
Poker Run”, and players can even grab and eat Slyders®
to increase their health and stamina in the game.
About “Arctic Stud Poker Run”
“Arctic Stud Poker Run” is an arcade-style combat racing game for
the PC developed by Game Refuge, the veteran arcade team behind
“Rampage World Tour” and “General Chaos”, and published in North
America by Got Game Entertainment. In this decidedly irreverent,
over-the-top reinvention of real-life cross-country "poker runs",
players race from place to place picking up playing cards in an
effort to assemble a winning hand. With its revolutionary
multi-player battle experience, “Arctic Stud Poker Run” is an
action-packed “full-contact poker” game of high stakes, high speeds,
and high explosives. For more information, visit
